While there is no guarantee that you will receive more than the original offer, Blau & Blau does have a track record that includes the following:

  • Lyndhurst – The New Jersey Meadowlands Commission initially offered $420,000 to our client for a piece of vacant land. Robert Blau tried the case without an appraisal witness and the condemnation commissioners came in with a judgment of $5,000,000.
  • Newark – Blau & Blau negotiated two settlements of commercial properties acquired by the Newark Housing Authority under threat of condemnation for the construction of the Prudential Arena, the New Jersey Devil’s new home. The first case involved an indoor shopping mall, and an offer of $3,000,000. We negotiated a settlement in the amount of $3,450,000 and did it without the necessity of retaining a real estate appraiser. The second case involved two small buildings. Thanks to our efforts, the property owner received 40% more than the initial offer.
